The Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries (ADAI) is inviting the public to attend its 2025 Hemp Program Orientation, aimed at educating individuals on growing industrial hemp in Alabama.
The free orientation sessions will provide valuable insights into industrial hemp cultivation and industry regulations. The meetings are open to the public and scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. across multiple locations in March.
Orientation Schedule:
- Tuesday, March 11 – Headland (167 AL-134, Headland, AL 36345)
- Tuesday, March 18 – Hazel Green (372 Walker Lane, Hazel Green, AL 35750)
- Thursday, March 20 – Montgomery (1445 Federal Drive, Montgomery, AL 36107)
ADAI requires free registration for all attendees. Interested individuals can register by calling 334-240-7270 or 334-590-9080, or by emailing ALHemp@agi.alabama.gov.
