ALEA-MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY UNIT
Teamed up with the Alabama Division of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to inspect intermodal chassis and commercial motor vehicles in Mobile. This joint effort to improve highway safety was successful, 36 commercial motor vehicles and intermodal chassis were inspected, with 95 violations discovered. Of those inspected 16 were placed Out-of-Service for critical violations discovered during the inspection.
The ALEA-Motor Carrier Safety Unit and the Alabama Division of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration are committed to improving highway safety through its commercial motor vehicle inspection program.
