The Alabama Community College System is organizing The Workforce Exchange, a regional Economic & Workforce Development Summit, scheduled for October 14 at the Enterprise Civic Center in Enterprise. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The summit aims to bring together business leaders, elected officials, educators, and community members to discuss new training opportunities and partnerships that support Alabama’s workforce. Attendees will also explore strategies for meeting future industry needs. Lunch will be provided during the event.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has collaborated with Alabama’s community colleges on several training programs designed to help small business owners address workforce challenges. The upcoming summit will expand on these efforts by featuring industry and legislative panels, economic updates, and a discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence in the workplace.

"NFIB has partnered with the community colleges on several training programs that help small business owners meet workforce challenges.
