The Alabama Open Horseman’s Association (AOHA) is set to host its 38th Annual State Championship Show from August 29 to 31, 2025, at the Garrett Coliseum and Crawford Arena in Montgomery. This year's event marks the largest gathering in over 15 years, with more than 2,000 entries and over 550 ponies and horses participating.

The AOHA offers classes for various age divisions: eight years old and under, 12 years old and under, 13–17 years old, and adults aged 18 and older. Separate divisions are available for ponies and horses. Participants will compete in disciplines such as halter, English, gaited, racking, western, and ranch. The event will also feature timed competitions including barrels, arena race, poles, and stake race.
