Engineers from the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) recently participated in a job fair at the Alabama Career Center in Mobile. The event, sponsored by the Alabama Department of Workforce, provided an opportunity for local residents to explore career options with ALDOT.

During the fair, ALDOT engineers engaged with attendees by answering questions and distributing information about available positions. More than 80 individuals submitted applications during the event. Attendees were encouraged to inquire about roles and received guidance on the application process.

ALDOT is currently seeking candidates for various positions, including administrative support personnel, clerks, engineering aides, service patrol operators, transportation maintenance technicians, and transportation workers. These roles are open to both newcomers and experienced professionals.
