In the third quarter of 2025, five Food and Cosmetics companies received five FDA inspections in Alabama, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This was the highest number of inspections per type of company made by the FDA in Alabama, equalling 55.6% of all inspections in the third quarter of 2025.

Of all the Alabama companies involved in the Food and Cosmetics sector, Baldwin County Peanut and Pharmavite - Opelika, LLC received the most citations from the FDA in the third quarter of 2025.
