Delta Air Lines has announced that its route connecting Anchorage and Atlanta will now operate year-round. This change marks an upgrade from its previous seasonal service. According to Delta's statement, "With our continued investment in Anchorage, Delta is offering more than 500 summer peak-day seats between Anchorage and Atlanta."
In a related development, Daniel Juarez has been appointed as the new Chief of the Anchorage Airport Police and Fire Department. Before his appointment as chief, Juarez served as Deputy Chief in the same department. An airport official stated, "We are excited for Deputy Chief Juarez to bring his leadership and experience to this new role."
Additionally, Delta Air Lines has expanded its seasonal service at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. As part of this expansion, they have extended the Atlanta route and increased capacity. Delta commented, "Our commitment to providing exceptional service to Alaskans has never been stronger."
The Anchorage airport has seen several positive developments. Recently, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport manager Dave Bronson was appointed, and Alaska Airlines expanded its service to Anchorage and Fairbanks.
