Alabama is observing National Principals Month in October, a time set aside to recognize the work of school principals. The month highlights the role that principals play in leading schools and supporting both students and teachers.

Governor Kay Ivey released a statement marking the occasion. "I am proud to join in celebrating National Principals Month," she said.
