Daytime lane closures on I-65 in Montgomery County will continue starting Tuesday, November 4. Crews will close lanes temporarily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both southbound and northbound sides between Pintlala Creek and exit 167 (US-80). The resurfacing project, managed by the Alabama Department of Transportation, requires these additional closures due to seasonal and weather conditions affecting the schedule.

Work began over the weekend, but colder weather has necessitated more daytime work to keep the project on track. ALDOT advises drivers to adhere to posted speed limits and remain cautious around workers and equipment in the area.

For real-time traffic updates, drivers can download the ALGOTraffic app or visit ALGOTraffic.com.
