We are grateful to partner with all the law enforcement agencies from both Alabama and Tennessee who teamed up for the annual “Hands Across the Border” event which aims to reduce roadway fatalities, in order to save lives, through enforcement. Representatives from both states met with members of the media this morning in Giles County, Tennessee to announce tonight’s enforcement activities.
Sr. Trooper Brandon Bailey spoke on ALEA’s behalf to help kick off the event.
The initiative is a safety campaign aimed at increasing awareness of the dangers and consequences of drinking and driving.
