On June 23, the ALEA Driver License Mobile Testing Vehicle was deployed to the Department of Youth Services (DYS) Mt. Meigs Facility, as a part of the Agency’s commitment to Auburn University’s "Securing Identification for Incarcerated Persons" Project.
Driver License Supervisor Lakesha Kemp and Retired State Employee Rufus Washington were able to issue Non-Driver ID Cards to incarcerated youth at the facility.
ALEA’s new LEADS system helps to make events like this possible.
