Census Bureau reports Alabama population was 4,893,186 in 2020

Alabama had a population of 4,893,186 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Yellowhammer Times.

The median age was 39, with 51.7 percent of the total population being female and 48.3 percent male.
