Auburn men’s golf head coach Nick Clinard has been named a finalist for the 2026 Dave Williams Division I Coach of the Year Award, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on May 29.

Clinard, who was recognized as the 2024 National Coach of the Year, has led Auburn to a No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament for a third consecutive year. The team achieved a record of 155-23-1 under his leadership.

Other finalists for this year’s award include J.C. Deacon from Florida, Chris Malloy from Ole Miss, Brad McMakin from Arkansas, and Bowen Sargent from Virginia.

The winner of the Dave Williams Division I Coach of the Year Award will be announced on Tuesday, June 9.
